Washington, D.C. – Climate Justice Alliance Co-Executive Directors Ozawa Bineshi Albert, Monica Atkins and Marion Gee joined 22 other leaders of environmental and environmental justice organizations in a letter to President Biden, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stating our strong opposition to attaching the Energy Independence and Security Act to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We call on them to do what is right and pull Manchin’s dirty side deal from the NDAA.
